Martindale on the Monon Open House

Begining Sunday September 7th Martindale on the Monon will be hosting open houses for the next 6 Sundays. The Welcome Center will be open from 2-5pm and Martindale on the Monon sales staff will be ready to answer your questions tell you more about this exciting development. The Project School Ribbon Cutting!

Attended by Mayor Gregory Ballard, Project School board members, faculty, and families, members of the development team and more, The Project School held its ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, August 5th. To the right you can see Mayor Ballard, joined by Project School board members and city charter school officials, signing the school's official charter.

New Windows for The Project School

With a few weeks of construction remaining, Brandt Construction is now installing the exterior windows to The Project School building. The restored concrete facade is also receiving a fresh coat of paint.

Construction On Schedule

The construction of The Project School, a new K-8 charter school in Martindale on the Monon, is on schedule. The school will be the first group to call the warehouse at the corner of 22nd and Yandes St home. Warehouse Redevelopment Underway

Construction is now underway on the warehouse at 22nd Street and Yandes Street in the Martindale on the Monon neighborhood. The first building of this five building complex will be the home of The Project School, a new charter school in the area. The redevelopment of this building will be completed in time for the start of the 2008-2009 school year.

Another Block Complete!

With the completion of a beautiful Virginia model, the 1700 block of Yandes Street is complete. This block of Yandes Street faces JTV Hill Park. With a park, a new charter school, and friendly neighbors, Martindale on the Monon is a perfect place for young families in Indianapolis.

The Project School

The Project School, the only Charter School asked to submit a formal proposal to the Mayor’s Office in 2007, is in its final stages of application.  If awarded their Charter, the group is looking to locate in a redeveloped warehouse within the Martindale on the Monon area.  This will not only expedite the redevelopment of this particular building, but also provide another educational option for neighborhood families.  For more information on this K-8 school, please click here.
