The Project School
The Project School, the only Charter School asked to submit a formal proposal to the Mayor’s Office in 2007, is in its final stages of application. If awarded their Charter, the group is looking to locate in a redeveloped warehouse within the Martindale on the Monon area. This will not only expedite the redevelopment of this particular building, but also provide another educational option for neighborhood families. For more information on this K-8 school, please click here. |

Neighborhood
Clean Up
The Kennedy King Neighborhood Association organized a neighborhood clean-up that invited both long-time and new residents to make an impact on the face of the neighborhood. More than thirty joined as we cut brush and limbs, picked up trash, and swept sidewalks. A special thank you goes to all those who participated. |

Rehabilitated
Home Sold
This Martindale
on the Monon rehabilitated
home was sold immediately
after completion. Originally
only 1000 sq. ft., the house
was too small to be marketable
to most modern households.
After a sizeable addition,
the now 1850 sq. ft. home
boasts three bedrooms, two
and one-half baths, a two-car
garage, a privacy fence, and
a large kitchen. |
